Process for producing the thermal self-stressing of a component consisting of a first refractory material, which consists in incorporating in this component bodies consisting of a second refractory material exhibiting a thermal expansion coefficient lower than that of the first refractory material and a higher tensile strength at the temperature of utilisation. These bodies may be in particular rods or fibres; they consist of at least one refractory material chosen from the group comprising silicon carbide, silicon nitride, cermets, carbon fibres and composite materials containing carbon fibres, and sintered alumina.
|
