A method for removing the internal burrs inside a longitudinally welded pipe consists in mounting the cutters (3) at an equal distance (K) from one another and at the same level in relation to the generatrix of the longitudinally welded pipe (1) and processing the weld while alternately removing the burrs (5) and moving the cutters (3) to and away from the treated surface of the pipe. A device for removing the internal burrs inside the longitudinally welded pipe comprises a rod (7) connected to a frame (6) of a multicutter instrument with cutters (3) mounted on it at an equal distance (K) and at the same level in relation to the imaginary longitudinal axis (10) of the frame (6) provided with supporting rollers (11, 12, 13). The supporting roller (11) located between the rod (7) and the multicutter instrument (2) is provided, along its perimeter, with sections (15, 16) of different length. The supporting roller (13) is spring-loaded and is mounted at the end of the frame (6), whereas the supporting roller (12) is mounted between the rod (7) and the supporting roller (11).
