<p>PURPOSE:To automatically update a menu of words and phrases whose voice input can be executed, in case when a voice input use operating key has been operated, in a state that a device is in a voice input mode, by providing a voice input use operating key, an input mode discriminating means, a switching means, and a word/phrase menu updating means. CONSTITUTION:When a voice input use operating key is operated, whether an input mode has become a voice input mode already or not is discriminated by an input mode discriminating means 6. As a result, when it is discriminated that the voice input use operating key has been operated in a state that the input mode does not go into the voice input mode yet, the input mode is switched to the voice input mode by a switching means, and a menu of words and phrases whose voice input can be executed is displayed on a display part 8. On the other hand, when it is discriminated that the voice input use operating key has been operated in a state that the input mode has gone into the voice input mode already, the menu of words and phrases whose voice input can be executed is updated automatically by a word/phrase menu updating means.</p> |
