PURPOSE:To stop at every other doffing position an automation such as a yarn replacing apparatus in a fine spinning machine to be stopped at a specified position by a stopping pin fitted on a guide member in a projected manner, by setting up in a specified state two sets of pin detectors for positioning stopping to detect stopping position-detecting pin. CONSTITUTION:A changeover device 21 is connected to detecting member 9a and 9b sides to decelerate a working machine 3b through the detection of a stopping pin 5a followed by brake actuation and pressing a stopper 11 against the sidewall of the pin 5a through a fluid pressure cylinder 16. When the working machine 36 moves due to its own inertia and the stopper 11 is pressed between the pins 5a and 5b, said stopper 11 is hooked on the pin 5b to effect positioning of the working machine 3b, thus positioning the working machine at every other doffing position (at a pitch 2P) ranging from one end of the base to the other end. |
