PURPOSE:To obtain the fuel of multicolor and arbitrary density of dye as required by a method wherein coloring of the transparent tank of a gas lighter is abandaned to increase the strength of the tank, and a particle adsorbing dye is contained in the liquefied gas thereby noxious solvent adsorbed on the particle is removed. CONSTITUTION:When the transparent tank of a gas lighter is filled with a liquefied petroleum gas, a small spherical body is placed into a tank one piece at a time to color it. For example, 0.1g of red oil dye is dissolved in 50ml of ethyl alcohol to make a dye. The dye thus formed is adsorbed on a spherical body 3- 5mm. in diameter, e.g. a sintered porous body of ehtylene, and the solvent is evaporated later. Using the product one piece at a time enables the coloring in red at a fixed density per fixed grain size. Setting the ratio of dye to the liquefied petroleum gas at 1-0.1ppm assures a better coloring level and flame stability. This eliminates the coloring of the tank thereby preventing the weakening of the material while lowering the cost. It makes it unnecessary to prepare a variety of liquified gases enabling the adjusting of the coloring to a fixed level. |
