PURPOSE:To reduce the resistivity of concrete and to improve the strength by incorporating chops of prescribed bent carbon fibers having large specific volume into the concrete. CONSTITUTION:This electrically conductive concrete is concrete contg. chops of three-dimensionally bent carbon fibers. The carbon fibers have larger specific volume than straight carbon fibers and >=50 aspect ratio. The concrete has low resistivity, improved electrical conductivity, high strength and a cracking suppressing effect. |
