Fibre-form raw material, pref. with a cellulose content, is fed to the shaping heads (32,54,64) with a binder medium in gas suspension, there to be distributed and formed into fibre mats. The shaping heads are arranged partly over . a main wire (34), and partly over one or more, pref. two auxiliary wires (56,66) from which the formed fibre mats (60,70) are transferred to the main wire (34).S The fibre mats (38,60,70) thus brought together form a common, layered mat (76) which is formed into sheets in a pressing and hardening process. In the input conduit (5) for raw material and binder medium are means for the formation of a central layer in the fibre mat with a facility for increasing the temp. of this layer and decreasing its water content. |
