The base part (10) of the clamp has a recess (15) for a conductor (12), and the stirrup part (11) has at least one metal part incorporating a contact slot (21) which works in conjunction with the conductor, and is limited by two arms (22,23). The base and stirrup parts are made from one piece of metal, and sepd. by a weakened part forming a pivot joint. The stirrup part free ends are pointed with cutting edge parts (22a,23a). The arms forming the base and stirrup parts are bent at 90 deg. from a common plate strip (16), and it is possible for the stirrup part to have two contact slots (21) to work with the conductor (12) in two points. At the opposite ends to the pointed formations on the arms of the stirrup part are ear lobe-type formations (26) with holes (25) which work in conjunction with flaps (27) bent out of the base part arms.
