The ski boot sole protector has a front sole support block (1) having a cross rod (2) and a retaining shackle (3) fitting over the end of the boot. The shackle has a rearwardly extending strip (4) with an end eye (5) to receive a cord (6). This has a connecting spring (7) attached to a cross rod (9) on a similar heel block (8). The heel block has a shackle (10) with a longer wire section than that of the front shackle.
