<p>PURPOSE:To make the manufacture of a container continuous and to improve the productivity by intermittently traveling a container by holding it by a retainer and executing in order the feeding of a spiral cover by working it, the feeding of a circular mount and calking on the way of its passage. CONSTITUTION:A unworked container 1 having an opening at its upper part is received by a retainer and the container transfer device 12 transferring it to the downstream side is arranged. A spiral cover working feed device 16, circular mount feed device 17 and 1st, 2nd calking devices 18, 21 are respectively arranged inside the passage of the device 12. The container 1 is carried in from a feeding conveyor 10, mounted on the retainer of the transfer device 12, and 5 cover 3 and mount 4. are worked and fed by the devices 16, 17. The 1st and 2nd calking devices 18, 21 subject containers peripheral edges 1A, 1B to bending and fit a knob 5 to form an expandable container. The manufacture of the container is thus executed in succession and the productivity is improved.</p> |
