PURPOSE:To readily obtain a ground material having uniform particle diameter and to raise a critical temperature and a critical current density in pulverizing process after calcination of a starting raw material for ceramic-based superconductive material, by grinding the calcined material by using an organic solvent having low water content as a vibrating medium in a wet state. CONSTITUTION:A R-A-M-O raw material (R, A, M, and O are shown as in the following) is calcinated, coarsely ground and then pulverized in a wet state by a vibrating mill by using an organic solvent having <=0.1wt.% water content as a vibrating medium. R: Y and at least one rare earth element of lanthanide, A: alkaline earth element, M: element of noble metal and O: oxygen. Any organic solvent having >=about 35 deg.C boiling point and liquid at normal temperature can be used as the organic solvent and, for example, a hydrocarbon, fluorinated hydrocarbon or chlorinated hydrocarbon may be cited. |
