PURPOSE:To enable a multiply-connected printing to be carried out at a high speed only by issuing printing data for two or more pages from a host device, by a method wherein printing data for every page in the same line are linked in a buffer memory. CONSTITUTION:A process device is provided with buffer memories 5, 6 in which printing data for two or more pages corresponding to the multiply-connected number issued from a host device 2 is stored per line in order of issue and management tables 9, 10 in which the printing data in the buffer memories 5, 6 is managed in order of line. When the printing data is inputted to the buffer memories 5, 6, the head address of the buffer memories 5, 6 wherein the printing data for a first issued page in the same line is stored in the management tables 9, 10, the printing data for every page in the same line are linked in the buffer memories 5, 6 in order of issue, and the linked printing data for every line are outputted from the buffer memories 5, 6 to a printing part 3 in order of line referring to the management tables 9, 10. The data for two or more pages are horizontally printed in alignment. |
