PURPOSE: To obtain a gun for a game for pleasantly and safely playing with high power by forming a shell of a foam resin, and providing an annular engaging portion for holding a hermetic sealability between part of its outer surface and an inner surface of a shooting cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A shell 20 is formed of a foam polystyrene, and has a substantially elliptical nose 21, and wings 22 integrally formed with its rear portion. When a piston 3 is retracted at a predetermined amount, the shell 20 is inserted from an opening of a shooting cylinder 2 and engaged. Thereafter, an outer surface of the cylinder 2 is snugly grasped, an outer end of a cylinder 4 of the piston 3 is, brought into contact with a waist to be supported. Then, when the cylinder 2 is strongly pulled, the piston 3 is submerged in the cylinder 2 so that an air pressure in the cylinder 2 is raised. And, when a pressure of compressed air for operating the shell 2 exceeds a frictional force between a maximum diameter part 21 of the shell 20 and the shooting cylinder, the shell 20 is shot forward. At this time, a large low shooting sound is generated. Thus, a player can enjoy the game with high power. |
