Composition of ethylenic polymers capable of degrading in the open air, capable of being simultaneously photodegradable and biodegradable, characterised in that it comprises: - for the most part the said ethylenic polymer as base resin; - a biodegradable filler representing between 1.1 and 40 % by weight of the total composition, liable to a microbial attack demonstrated by the ASTM test D 1924-63; - manufacturing additives such as lubricants, plasticisers, lubricating and antiblocking agents, process aids, stabilisers, antioxidants, chosen wholly or completely among those liable to a microbial attack demonstrated by the ASTM test D 1924-63; - and at least one organic salt of a transition metal, capable of changing the sensitivity of the polymer to degradation by reaction of ultraviolet rays and/or of sunlight, in a quantity of between 0.01 and 10 % by weight of the total composition.
