PURPOSE:To form a carrier which has durability and stable triboelectrostatic chargeability in use at a high speed for a long period of time by specifying the coating layer of the carrier having the coating layer for development of electrostatic charge image. CONSTITUTION:The coating layer consists of a polymer contg. >=20wt.% monomer expressed by formula I or compsn. contg. >=30wt.% said polymer. In formula I, Z denotes a divalent org. group; Rf denotes a fluorine-contained org. group; (h) denotes 0 or 1. The Z group is preferably an alkylene group of 1-3C, -CH2 CH2N(R<1>)SO2- group (where R<1> is an alkyl group of 1-4C) or -CH2CH(OW)CH2- group (where W is a hydrogen atom. or acetyl group). The carrier having the durability and the stable triboelectrostatic chargeability in the use at the high speed for the long period of time is thereby obtd. |
