PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of the copying efficiency by constituting the titled system so that at the time of switching from copying of one document to copying of the other document, when a change of magnification is requested from a magnification setting means, the other document is copied by the magnification which has been brought to the magnification change. CONSTITUTION:While copying of one document is ended and switched to copying of the other document, when there is a request for changing to magnification being different from the present magnification by an input from magnification setting means 100-103, a copying machine A executes the movement of an optical system 10 such as a lens and a mirror, etc., and executes a variable magnification preparation so as to become designated magnification, and when the variable magnification preparation is ended, the other document is copied by the magnification which has been brought to the magnification change. In such a way, the operability in a split copy is improved, and the copying efficiency is improved. |
