PURPOSE:To provide the titled component suitable as a raw material for heat sinks requiring high thermal conductivity or draw dies or dressers requiring high thermal conductivity along with wear resistance, made up of an aggregate of diamond particles with specific disposition. CONSTITUTION:The objective highly thermally conductive component made up of diamond particles to be manufactured under such high-temperature and high-pressure as to fall in the range stable for diamond. The majority of these diamond particles 8 is >=2 for the aspect ratio, regularity being present in the direction of their arrangement, and grain boundary absent in the major axis direction. Also, the length of the majority of said particles is pref. >=100mum in the major axis direction. |
