OXYGEN PRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain oxygen continuously and inexpensively by a small-sized, lightweight and cheap device without generating noise, by using bis (salicylaldehyde)ethylenediimine cobalt (II) or a derivative thereof as an adsorbing and desorbing agent for oxygen. CONSTITUTION:Two containers 1 and 1' which are packed with bis(salicylaldehyde)ethylenediimine cobalt (II) or a derivative [e.g. bis(3- ethoxysalicylaldehyde)ethylenediimine cobalt (II) thereof as an adsorbing and desorbing agent for oxygen and equipped with temperature sensors 10 and 10'. An operation wherein one container 1 is cooled by sending air by an air pump 5 and oxygen in air is adsorbed on the adsorbing and desorbing agent for oxygen and an operation wherein the other container 1' is heated by a heating element 6' and oxygen adsorbed on the adsorbing and desorbing agent for oxygen is released are continuously repeated by alternately using the containers 1 and 1' to successively produce oxygen.
