Device for folding grating over a width of one metre with two edges of 25 centimetres on either side. The invention relates to a device making it possible to fold the grating with a minimum amount of time and expended energy. It consists of a rectangular frame with two internal uprights where two wheels are fixed. Two stops guide the grating. These two wheels are held by a steel axle. In order to propel and guide the grating through the machine, a roll and two lower wheels resting on the ground are provided, the latter being fixed to the outer uprights of the frame. For easy pushing of the machine, a round tube of trapezoidal shape is anchored on the outer uprights of the frame. The device according to the invention is intended for folding grating employed as a support for litters in earth-worm cultivation. The width of the machine can be varied as a function of that of the grating, as can the height of the edges, as required by the users.
