<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture efficiently a cylindrical cartridge filter, holes of which are not crushed and strained, by thermally fusing the mutual end sections of porous sheets before a plurality of the porous sheets having different hole diameters are wound cylindrically. CONSTITUTION:Two kinds of porous sheets 2, 3 having different hole diameters are placed onto a belt conveyor 5 and carried. When the porous sheets 2, 3 reach to a sheet lower fixture 11, the belt conveyor 5 is stopped. A sheet upper fixture 8 is lowered, and holds the nose sections of the porous sheets 2, 3 together with the lower fixture 11 and pushes and fixes them. Both end surfaces of the porous sheets 2, 3 are melted by a plate heater 15 under the state of heating, and the contact side end sections of the porous sheets 2, 3 are fused. The porous sheets are extracted, and the porous sheet 2 is rotated in the counterclockwise direction centering around a fused joined section 20, thus acquiring a continuous sheet while the joining section 20 is directed downward. The continuous sheet is wound, thus obtaining a cylindrical cartridge filter.</p> |
