PURPOSE:To prevent the tuft inclination of a brush by constituting a pressure roller of a mandrel, an elastic body layer for covering the outer peripheral surface of the mandrel, and the brush in which a fiber is projected from the surface of the elastic body layer. CONSTITUTION:A pressure roller 1 is constituted of a mandrel 11, an elastic body layer 12 consisting of sponge, rubber, etc., for covering the outer peripheral surface of the mandrel 11, and a brush 13 in which a fiber 13a is projected from the surface of this elastic body layer 12, placed in a state that the tip of the brush 13 is pressed by extremely low pressure against the outer peripheral surface of the heating roller 1, and wide nip width is secured. In this case, the fiber 13a of the brush 13 for abutting on the outer peripheral surface of the heating roller 1 is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the heating roller 1 in a state curved by its elasticity, and also, its resiliency is absorbed by the elastic body layer 12, and a load applied to its fiber is relaxed. Accordingly, when the tip of each fiber 13a is detached from the outer peripheral surface of the heating roller 1, elastic return force is secured. In such a way, the tuft inclination can be prevented. |
