PURPOSE:To make a grid light in weight, increase the bonding strength of an electrode plate ear, and ensure retention of active substance by the foldings by providing a through hole in the electrode plate ear formed in an unexpanded portion of Cu expand metal, and by filling this hole with lead. CONSTITUTION:With an unexpanded portion 4 left at the top, a Cu expand metal 1 is elongated in the longitudinal direction, and an electrode plate ear 2 and a cross master bone 3 are formed by this portion. A through hole 5 is providing in this electrode plate ear 2 and filled with lead or its alloy to form electrode plate ear 2. This prevents defoliation of covering of lead or lead alloy at the time of welding of electrode plate ear plate ear 2 with an in tercellar connecting piece or a strap. Nodes 1' at the two sides of the metal 1 are cut loose and folded perpendicularly to the cross master bone 3 to from foldings 7, that accomplishes better retaining the active substance. |
