PURPOSE:To elevate press force and working efficiency by pressing a press chamber with a piston inserted into a rigid cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A material 13 to be filtered is supplied from a supply hole 14a of the material to be filtered into the press chamber 3, a supply passage 14 of material to be filtered is closed and then highly pressurized fluid 17 is supplied from a pressurized fluid supply hole 16a into a pressurized fluid supply chamber 4. When a piston 5 rises with the supply of the pressurized fluid 17, the material 13 to be filtered in the press chamber 3 is squeezed. Liquid compo nent in the squeezed material 13 to be filtered infiltates from the internal surface 6a of filter medium 6 into the filter medium layer 6d, then, moves toward the circumferential edge 6c in the filter medium layer 6d and is discharged outdoors from the external surface 6b. |
