PURPOSE:To efficiently print on a double postal card, by a method wherein, a paper size setting and format data system of special purpose for a double postal card are preset, and required data input and card setting process in printing are minimized. CONSTITUTION:A main body part 2 for editting and forming a document, etc., has a format file for double postal cards, wherein a paper size for double postal cards is selected and assigned sender data, such as, a sender's address and name, and recipient data, such as a recipient's address and name, are to be inputted and determined. A printing control means 9 is further provided; to read the recipient data and the sender data in printing mode from this file onto a predetermined position of the surface of a double postal card according to a printing command directing that the double postal card is disposed with the forward surface on the right side and the reply surface on the reverse side to print the former data with enlarged characters and the latter data with normal characters; and to read the sender data onto a predetermined position of the surface of the double postal card from the file according to a printing command directing that the double postal card is disposed with the reply surface on the right side and the forward surface on the reverse side to print the sender data with enlarged characters. |
