Apparatus for enriching water with oxygen

An apparatus for enriching water with oxygen by relative movement between the apparatus and the water and by vortexing the water is proposed. The apparatus has a plate arrangement arranged between floats transversely to the direction of flow and having a lower vortex plate tipping into the water, the plate surface of which is pierced with orifices for the passage of water, and having a top barrier plate with which a back-up pressure is exerted on the water. A plurality of plate arrangements can be provided, at a distance from each other, between the floats arranged in parallel, as a result of which a ladder is formed and, furthermore, it is possible to combine a plurality of ladders to form a field. The advantage of the novel apparatus is that enrichment of the water with oxygen is possible by simple means and without intervening in nature.
