A fuel injection pump for supplying fuel to the combustion chambers of internal combustion engines provided for vehicle drives is proposed, wherein, in addition to the fuel feed control corresponding to the operating parameters of the internal combustion engine, there is provided an adjuster (140, 144) whereby, in accordance with an anti-jerk signal derived from rapid relative movements on the vehicle, the quantity of fuel fed by the fuel injection pump is varied in opposite phase to the acceleration process which triggers the jerking action. This is done by an electric stepping motor (140) acting on an adjusting lever (29) of the fuel feed control device (20), which lever engages on the fuel feed adjusting element (19), and/or on an adjusting lever (38) on which the pivot (30) of the adjusting lever (29) is supported. The stepping motor (140) is controlled by an electric control device (144) which generates the anti-jerk signal preferably from oscillations in a speed signal. <IMAGE>
