PURPOSE:To improve the operability when the Japanese words are supplied and at the same time to increase the input speed by deciding the output order of word strings in accordance with the homophony learning information as well as the learning information concerning the selection among the word groups having an including relation with the reading of a dictionary. CONSTITUTION:For instance, a character string ''SHINKAI'' (deep sea) is supplied. In this case, the words having the coincidence with the positions at and after ''SHI'' is retrieved among the input character strings by a word dictionary 15 through a word retrieving part 14. Then the words are extracted out of the obtained word group in order of the reading length and then recognized at a word train recognizing part 13 to be stored temporarily. Therefore a word string output deciding part 17 rearranges the order of the word strings within a word string memory part 16 in order of output on the basis of the homophony learning information as well as the learning information related to the selection among the word groups having an including relation with the reading of the word retrieval result. In such a way, the operations for replacement and selection can be excluded to decrease the operating frequency of an operator. |
