<p>PURPOSE:To easily execute information management and to improve transfer efficiency by transferring only essential information for indicating the contents of a message and editing a display message based on received destination and message identifiers. CONSTITUTION:When a message to be transmitted to a computer C2 is generated in a computer C1, a message transmission means 11 transmits a message including a destination identifier and a message identifier to the computer C2 based on a message transfer format. A message editing/displaying means 21 in the computer C2 compares the destination identifier of the transferred message with a destination identifier in a destination-sorted display format table 23, determines a corresponding display format identifier and determines a display message from a message table 24. If a message identifier coincident with the transfer message does not exist in the table 24, updating is requested to a message table updating means 22. Finally, the means 21 displays a display message on a message display device 25 specified by the destination identifier of the transfer message.</p> |
