At least one self-propelled conveyor truck (2) on rails (10) is arranged, together with a container (12), on at least partially vertical rail sections (4). To prevent overloading, the container (12) is arranged slidingly on the conveyor truck (3) in the direction of travel. The container (12) is coupled in at least one sliding direction through a spring device (20) with the conveyor truck. A switch (28) on the spring device (20) breaks the driving current circuit of the drive motor and/or actuates a braking device when the spring (24) is compressed by a predetermined force, i.e. the load in the container.
