An appliance for the heat-sealing of blister packs should be designed so that the sealing can be carried out as a result of the heating of the sealing tool from the blister side. The advantage of this is that sealing can be carried out quickly with little pressure, without a distortion of the blister packs occurring. This is achieved in that the perforations provided in the rotating carrier pallets are surrounded all-round by a thin metal foil for supporting the blister edge. The remaining perforation corresponds to the contour of the blister cap. The heated sealing tool presses from the underside against the metal foil and through the latter heats the blister edge. Sealing takes place in cooperation with a counterplate. <IMAGE>
