A goal for football, especially a sports device which is designed to be transportable and to be especially suitable for games played as part of amateur and/or leisure sporting activities and/or for indoor training etc. is proposed which has a kit (1) composed of elements (2 to 5) which can be combined in a modular fashion, rapid connecting means (6 to 13) which can engage with one another being assigned to the said elements (2 to 5) for mutual connection and for fastening to the floor. The elements (2 to 5) of the kit (1) comprise an overhead goal bar (2), two lateral post parts (3a, 3b), two supporting rods (4a, 4b) and a net (5). In contrast to the dimensions of a goal used in professional football, the basic configuration of this transportable amateur sports device preferably has an inside height (H) of 0.9 m and an inside width (W) of 1.5 m (see Figure 1). <IMAGE>
