PURPOSE:To adjust a detection error within a prescribed limit which would otherwise occur as a result of the irregularity of air volume and mounting position of burner or the change of gas fuel type, by providing an adjusting board for adjusting the flow of combustion gas and convection air around the electrode of sensor. CONSTITUTION:A holder 4 is mounted via a support device 3 in front of flame 2 defined on the plate of total primary air type burner 1. A sensor 5 consisting of an oxygen concentration cell is provided inside the holder 4 to split the holder 4 to a forward and a backward portions, having the back side thereof being pressed by a spring 6. An opening 4a is defined in front of the holder at the height equal with that of electrodes 5a and 5b provided at the opposite faces of sensor 5. A freely bendable adjusting board 4b is integrally provided at the upper front portion of holder. By altering the bending angle of adjusting board 4b, a great change in the flow passage of frontal space takes place in the holder 4, thereby making it possible to freely adjust an oxygen concentration rate to be detected as its deficient limit. |
