A device for loading and unloading storage spaces which are difficult to access, such as sectionalised holds of deep-sea fishing ships, is proposed. The device has a spatially bendable and rotatable tube in order, in this way, to reach all corners of the hold. The loaded material, such as fish or the like, is fed, via a cartridge which can be moved back and forth inside the tube, to a delivery point where it is directly transferred to a device which transports it away. <IMAGE>
