It relates to an arrangement for longitudinally fixing the inner conductor with respect to the outer conductor of a coaxial cable. An insulating body surrounding the inner conductor is brought to bear against the outer conductor by means of a contact sleeve. On its one end the contact sleeve has contact claws for the inner conductor and is designed at its other end as contact pin for plugging on a coupling sleeve (coupling bush) for the inner conductor of a coaxial cable to be connected. In this manner, coaxial cables with inner conductors having different diameters can be coupled. <IMAGE>
