PURPOSE:To suppress transient restarting current, by determining restarting frequency of an inverter from a rotary angular speed of an induction motor immediately before stoppage of the inverter, stopping time and inertia energy damping characteristic of a rotary body. CONSTITUTION:Upon interruption of an A.C. power source 1, a controller 5 stops an inverter 3 from an interruption detecting signal fed from an interruption detector 14. Upon recovery of power source, a restart command is fed from a restart command oscillator 15 to the controller 5. The controller 5 predicts restart rotary angular speed a from rotary angular speed corresponding to the inverter frequency immediately before stoppage of inverter, from stopping time and from inertia energy damping characteristic in free stop stroke of a rotary body including an induction motor, and determines restart frequency of the inverter 3. |
