PURPOSE:To obtain an aqueous deodorant dispersion body not contaminating a place to be sprinkled and useful for imparting a deodorizing property to a base material such as the paint of every kind, a synthetic resin, a synthetic fiber or paper, by forming said dispersion from a deodorant component and an aqueous medium and constituting the deodorant component of a weak alkaline substance. CONSTITUTION:In an aqueous deodorant dispersion consisting of a deodorant component and an aqueous medium, the deodorizing component is composed of a weak alkaline substance. The weak alkaline substance to be used is non-volatile and must has a necessary condition imparting no damage to the circumferential environment and oxide or hydroxide of an alkaline earth metal such as magnesium, calcium or barium is suitable. The aqueous deodorant dispersion is obtained by dispersing the deodorant component in the aqueous medium. As the aqueous medium, water or an org. solvent soluble in water, for example, a mixture of alcohols or ketones is used. The aqueous deodorant dispersion can be used as a liquid deodorant to various malodorous sources as it is and does not contaminate a use plate. Further, this dispersion body is applied to a product such as paint, a fiber, paper, a fabric or a nonwoven fabric to make it possible to impart a deodorizing property thereto without coloring the same inconveniently. |
