PURPOSE:To eliminate even order number of high frequency distortion over a wide range by receiving a bipolar output of a limiter amplifier main body at an error amplifier so as to convert it into a single end output thereby using only one external integration capacitor and applying DC negative feedback to the 1st stage error amplifier. CONSTITUTION:The limiter amplifier main body 10 consists of transistors (TRs) 21-26, resistors R21-R24 and current sources A21-A24 to apply a noninverting input corresponding to an input 20 to a noninverting input of the error amplifier 30 and an inverting output is fed to an inverting input of the amplifier 30. The output of the amplifier 30 is extracted to an external electrode and integrated by an external capacitor C10 and subject to DC negative feedback to the 1st stage of the amplifier main body 10. When the DC bias of the amplifier main body 10 becomes higher, it is decreased by using the DC bias integrated and fed back thereby using only one external electrode 40 and preventing the production of even order number high frequency distortion over a wide frequency. |
