PURPOSE:To improve response to abrupt acceleration/deceleration, by detecting varying time of voltage induced in a stator coil when a rotor rotates and determining power supply timing for the stator coil. CONSTITUTION:Voltage of a D.C. power source 1 is converted into A.C. voltage through an output means 5 and fed to a brushless motor 18. An operating circuit 38 comprising comparators 23-25, a microcomputer 29, an oscillation circuit 33, frequency dividers 34, 35, timers 36, 37, etc. detects varying time of voltage induced in stator coils 19U-19W as a rotor 20 rotates and determines power supply timing for the stator coils 19U-19W. The output means 5 supplies power to the stator coils 19U-19W on the basis of the operation result of the operating means 38. |
