PURPOSE:To completely prevent a plain bearing form becoming magnetic, by using a nonmagnetic stainless steel for a back metal, and by using a nonmagnetic material for metal powder. CONSTITUTION:A stainless steel 1 is lined with a nomagnetic metal 2 and a nonmagnetic metal powder is sintered thereover to form a porous layer 3 which is impregnated with a lubricatable resin 4. More specifically, lead bronze powder is sprinkled on the cupper surface of a clad material which is obtained by cold-clading, and is sintered in the atmosphere of ammonium cracking gas. The thus obtained porous layer is impregnated with lubrication oil so as to obtain a flat bearing material. Accordingly, the plain bearing never becomes magnetic. |
