PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a wet process toner with age and to obtain a printing plate having stable quality by subjecting the paper base body of a base to a sizing treatment by a sizing agent essentially consisting of a neutral sizing agent, then forming a photoconductive sensitive layer on one surface side of the base. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic lithographic printing plate is formed by providing the photoconductive sensitive layer on one surface side of the base consisting of paper as its base body in a developing system using a wet process developing soln. The paper base body subjected to the sizing treatment by the sizing agent essentially consisting of the neutral sizing agent is used for the paper base body of this base. The neutral sizing agent is selected from alkyl ketene dimer, alkenyl succinate anhydride and stearic anhydride and is incorporated into the base within a 0.2-3.0% range by the total weight of the base. The photoconductive sensitive layer is provided on one surface of the base formed in such a manner, by which the deterioration of the wet process toner with age is prevented and the deterioration of the density of the image obtd. therefrom with age is prevented. The printing plate having the stable quality is thus obtd. |
