PURPOSE:To maintain a die at a specified temp. in the stage of starting the succeeding charging by stopping temporarily the supply of cooling water when the die temp. is decreased by water cooling, determining a die temp. curve, estmating the die temp. in the stage of starting the succeeding charging and controlling the time for secondary water supply. CONSTITUTION:Supply of water is started upon confirming the starting point for charging and at the same time, the time is counted. When the die temp. changes from a peak value to a dropping state and decreases to a set value or below, the supply of water is temporarily stopped. A numerical value for calculation is sampled in synchronously therewith and the die temp. curve while the supply of the cooling water is held stopped is determined. The curve is moved in parallel with the time axis by using the time from the start of charging till the point of the present time and the die temp. at the point of said time and the estimated die temp. in the stage of starting the succeeding charging is calculated. The temp. difference between the estimated die temp. and a targeted estimating die temp. is calculated and the secondary supply of die cooling water is started. The supply of the water is continued until the temp. difference is eliminated. The even if the interval of charging changes, the die temp. in the stage of starting the succeeding charging is controlled at a constant level. |
