The invention relates to a device for superfinishing, in particular for journals of crankshafts, consisting of an air vibrator with superfinishing stones, which is mounted, rotationally displaceably in a guide console, in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the superfinished pin. The object of the invention is to achieve highly precise working using simple means. The invention consists in fixing on the guide console a pressure cylinder whose piston rod is mechanically connected to a crank follower carrying the air vibrator together with the superfinishing stones, the pressure cylinder being connected to a pressure-medium distributor.
