Muscle-powered diving equipment comprises a pump (10) worn by the diver, which is operated by the diver's legs by means of a belt arrangement (86) and foot loops (90) attached thereto. When the driver's legs are extended, air is sucked in through a tube (14) whose end is attached to a floating buoy (20). When the diver's legs are bent, the aspirated air is compressed by the pressure of the surrounding water and can be breathed in by the diver through the breathing tube (16). The exhalted air escapes through an expiration valve (74) into the water. |
