<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the production of excessive tape tension due to tape end stop by applying deceleration control to the tape speed at all times from the vicinity of tape end just before the tape end independently of the tape position where the high speed traveling is started. CONSTITUTION:The tape speed is detected based on the detection period of the supply reel 1 and the take-up reel 2 at the high speed traveling of a tape 3 and the detection period of the supply reel 1 and the detection speed of the tape 3 are substituted in a calculation equation of a divider of deceleration composed of a negative linear function of the product of the rotary period of the supply reel 1 and the tape speed to calculate the deceleration divider. When the calculated deceleration divider reaches 1 or above, the speed of revolutions of the take-up reel 2 is decelerated by a ratio of the deceleration divider to be calculated and the tape speed is subjected to deceleration control according to the linear function equation. Thus, even when the high speed traveling is started from the tape position, the tape speed is started to be decelerated by the ratio of the deceleration divider when the tape reaches the vicinity of tape. Thus, the production of excessive tape tension due to the tape end stop is prevented.</p> |
