摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the production of excessive tape tension due to the tape end stop by applying deceleration control to the tape speed from the vicinity of the tape end just before the tape end at all times regardless of the tape position where high speed traveling is started. CONSTITUTION:At the high speed traveling of the tape 3, the tape speed is detected based on the detected period of the supply reel 1 and the take-up reel 2 and the detection period of the supply reel 1 and the detection speed of the tape 3 are substituted to a linear function equation represented by the product of the rotational period of the supply reel 1 and the tape speed to calculate the deceleration control speed. When the calculated deceleration control reaches the detection speed or less, the take-up reel 2 is controlled according to the deceleration control to apply deceleration to the tape speed according to the linear function equation. Thus, even when the high speed is started from any tape position and the tape reaches the vicinity of tape end, the tape speed deceleration is started based on the deceleration control. Thus, the production of excessive tape tension due to the tape end stop is prevented.</p>
