摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the speed of switching between superconduction and normal conduction, by arranging the conducting section of superconducting substance connected to a space between terminals, a metallic conducting object insulated electrically from the conducting section and conducting heat efficiently, a coil applying a cooler and a magnetic field, and the like. CONSTITUTION:To a space between terminals 1, 2, superconducting substance is connected, and a conducting section 3 is formed, and on the periphery, a metallic conductor 11 is set via an electrical insulation 12, and is enclosed in a cooler 13 filled up with refrigerant 4. By a current transformer 7, current flowing through the conducting section 3 is detected, and by a temperature sensor 14, the temperature of the refrigerant 4 is measured, and the input to a controller 15 is provided. When excess current flows to the conducting section 3, then signal is transmitted to the controller 15 from the transformer 7, and alternating voltage is applied to a coil 6. On the metallic conductor 11, eddy current is generated, and the conducting section is heated not to exceed a critical temperature, and so a magnetic field less than a critical field set by the temperature of the refrigerant 4 is generated on the metallic conductor 11. As a result, transfer between the superconduction state and normal conduction state of the conducting section 3 is quickened, and a device is miniaturized, and the span of life is lengthened.
