The invention relates to novel 2-arylimino-5-aryl-2,3-dihydro-1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which R<1>, R<2> and R<3> have the meanings given in the description, and to their acid addition salts with inorganic and organic acids, the processes for their preparation, and to their use as herbicides and plant growth regulators.
