发明名称 DISCHARGE CONTROL VALVE
摘要 PURPOSE: To make the discharge rate of a granular material easily adjustable by using an overlying plate with material-feeding through-holes, an underlying plate with a solid surface and material-discharge through-holes, and a mechanism for varying the spacing between these plates. CONSTITUTION: In the condition of non-discharge, the distribution area of a granular material on an underlying plate 34 is equal to the total area of holes 32 and increases with upward separation between plate's surfaces 36 and 38 keeping a substantially circular shape. In the case of a material having an angle of responseα, when a plate 22 and a plate 34 are separated from each other to a predetermined distance, the diameter of the distribution area becomes equal to the distance between the holes 40 facing in the diameter direction of the underlying plate 34. With further separation, sedimentary body becomes larger and the distribution area of the granular material on the underlying plate increases. Accordingly, the material falls into the adjacent four through holes 40, and drops to the mold frame 16. When the material beings to flow in this way, the flow increases gradually. Thus the flow of the granular material can be controlled with ease.
