PURPOSE:To improve the workability of the air conditioner by holding a hanging metal fitting provided rotatably on a wall surface in a horizontal state, suspending an indoor unit, and perpendicularly rotating to fix the hanging metal fitting, in the device for installing the wall surface fitted type air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:An L-shaped fixing plate 3 is fixed to a wall surface A, and a hanging metal fitting 1 is rotated horizontally. Thus, the metal fitting 1 is engaged with a stopper part and supported horizontally. Then, a bolt 7 fitted to the side surface of an indoor unit 5 is suspended on a U-shaped hanging part 2 of the hanging metal fitting 1 to suspend the indoor unit 5. Then, the hanging metal fitting 1 is rotated in the direction of the wall surface A to erect the hanging metal fitting 1 upright. Thereafter, the bolt 7 and screws 9 and 10 are clamped to allow the indoor unit 5 to hermetically adhere to a wall surface B. By this construction, the workability is improved and the air conditioner can be allowed to hermetically adhere to the wall surface. |
