PURPOSE:To decrease cost and to increase torque capacity, by a method wherein a wedge action member positioned in a gap between a cam surface and a circular track forms a ball body. CONSTITUTION:Six cam surfaces 12 are formed in the bore part of an annular outer ring 10, an inner ring 14 is provided on an outer surface with a cylinder surface, and ball bodies 16, being a wedge action member, and springs 18 to press the respective ball bodies are situated between the cam surfaces 12 and the cylinder surface of the inner ring 14. In this constitution, with the outer ring 10 rotated counterclockwisely based on the inner ring 14, the ball body 16 is caught in a wedge-shaped gap formed with the cylinder surface of the inner ring 14 and the cam surface 12, and as a result, the outer ring 10 can not be relatively rotated between and the outer ring and the inner ring 14. |
